Rožmberk Castle towers above a meander of the Vltava and is one of the oldest seats of the Rožmberk family. Tours show the Knights' Hall, the armoury and the legends of the White Lady.

A popular paddling route to Krumlov starts below the castle. You can combine the trip with a visit to the monastery in Vyšší Brod.

The road along the Vltava has plenty of viewpoints and places to stop.
