Holašovice is the only village in the Czech Republic on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Farmsteads in South Bohemian rustic Baroque style surround a large village green with a pond and a chapel.

It's easy to combine with Kleť or České Budějovice. The village has an information centre and a pub serving South Bohemian food.

At the end of July the village hosts its Peasant Festival, with a market and a programme of events.
